Louisville bowl game exciting, for us at least

As my mini-vacation continues, I can't get away from my computer, and continue to just Google any and everything that comes to my mind. But I was using my always-trustworthy Google Reader today and for the first time in what seems like forever, CollegeFootballNews.com has released a couple of columns on some of the different bowls.

The Orange Bowl piece gets my attention right off the bat. I start reading and come to find that I get nothing but one single mention of the Cardinals OR the Demon Deacons in the first freaking FOUR PAINFULLY LONG paragraphs.

Is that pure accident, or is columnist Matt Zemek just plain bored with the matchup--just like others (like it or not) are nationwide--that he has to bring up old useless knowledge that may or may not be used in Orange Bowl-opoly.

In his defense, I choose to believe the latter. The Orange Bowl is exciting around here. But it plays third (not second) fiddle in North Carolina, and may get a little play in Miami.

Other than that, it's the diehards and the diehards only, that will be watching this game on Jan. 2.

See for yourself.
