UH-OH MATT SIMMS
I don't know what he's got in front of him, besides the Grey Goose and OJ (I think quarterbacks should drink whiskey). Not a good way to start as a Cardinal. That's for sure.
Remember the legend of Kragthorpe, Matt. Kragthopre will look you square in the eye and make you cry!

Today changed me. I’m a new person now. A better person now.
Take a bow Chuck...
I'm just a guy who has been in the right place at the right time. That's all I can say.
I knew I wanted to do sports radio, so my mentors told me to start interning IMMEDIATELY. So I did. At 15, I got offered an internship to help with the high school sports coverage at WAVG 1450 in Jeffersonville, Ind., which to this day, I am grateful for.
That first game in August, we traveled to Evansville, and I kept stats. And then out of nowhere, I was asked if I wanted to do give out the stats over the air. Well, hell yeah. It sounded terrible. But somehow over time, I parlayed that into becoming a substitute color analyst, then a play-by-play man for some state tournament football games (including calling one as Rex Grossman, now a Chicago Bear, QBd for Bloomington South HS). It turned into calling some state finals football games at the RCA Dome, some state finals basketball games at Conseco Fieldhouse, and a state championship baseball game at Victory Field in Indianapolis.
Then, I was lucky enough to get hired at ESPN Radio in Louisville, and here I am.
I know how lucky I am, believe me.
